Azzi Academy is in our 12th year of summer and holiday camps throughout the Bay Area. Azzi Academy has helped hundreds of children develop their skills, accelerate their learning and grow a deeper appreciation for the sport of basketball. Led by Stanford National Champion and Olympic Gold Medalist Jennifer Azzi, NBA Academy Global Director Blair Hardiek and an elite support staff, our camps focus on improving shooting, ball handling, screening, offensive movement, rebounding, on-ball defense and off-ball defense for children in grades 1st to 8th.

What is day 1 check-in like? All paperwork has been submitted online, so check-in is brief. Please bring any drop-off/pick-up notes, medical necessities, add on extended care, or put money in the camp store.

What is Extended Care? If you need your child to be dropped off early or to stay late extended care is here to help. Extended care is $50 which can be paid during online registration or at day 1 check-in. It means early drop-off Tuesday-Friday an hour before camp starts from 8:00-9:00 AM and late pick-up up to an hour after camp from 3:00-4:00 PM. Friday late pick-up is from 12:00-1:00 PM.

What do campers need to bring to camp? Basketball shoes, basketball attire, lunch for all day camps, and a water bottle.

What is the Camp Store? The Camp Store allows campers to get snacks and beverages throughout the day in addition to the lunch they bring themselves. On day 1 check-in money can be applied to camper accounts which acts as a debit system throughout the week or campers can pay as they go.  Peanuts or chocolate are not sold at the Camp Store.

What will my camper receive? Each camper will receive an official camp t-shirt on day 1.  After camp is concluded each camper will take home an official camp basketball.

Do I sign my camper in and out? Once you drop off your camper we will do roll call within teams. Campers will be signed in at the start of camp by their designated coach. At the end of the camp day please physically come inside the gym to get your camper.

Are parents/guardians able to watch camp? Yes, of course! Please sit off of the court in the bleachers or chairs.

Are parents/guardians able to attend motivational speaking sessions? Yes. Everyone can benefit from hearing the inspiring stories of our motivational guest speakers.

What if I need to change the camp I registered for to another session? No problem at all. Simply email your request or visit our Contact page.

Are boys and girls combined or separated? Separated. For our full week camp sessions boys and girls are separated for all drills, competitions, and 5-on-5 games.

Is Azzi Academy gear available? Yes! Gear is available for purchase on the website.

What is the campers to coach ratio? We believe in each camper getting individualized instruction. Our camper to roach ratio at 7:1 provides just that.

Do you group together friends on teams? We would love for campers to separate from the friends to make new friends and actually compete against each other, but realize many campers want to be paired with their teammates/friends. When we put campers into teams the morning of day 1 we ensure every camper is comfortable and do our best to accommodate teammate/friend requests.

Can my child miss a session or day? Yes. If you need to have your child miss a portion of camp please email with the day/session they will miss.

What if my child has a medical condition or allergy that I would like to discuss with the medical personnel? We have a trainer on site that you can speak with at any time. Your child’s safety is always a top priority.

What ages can attend? 1st-8th grade for our weekly camps/All ages for private clinic opportunities

What is the refund policy? 100% refund will be made upon request minus processing/administration fees of $20.00.

What if my child needs specific drop off and pick up assignments? Please bring a note with your camper to be given to their coach or Blair Hardiek.

What happens if my child gets sick or injured during the camp? We have a trainer on site and will always take great care of each camper. In the event that medical care is needed we will call the emergency number given on the registration form.

Do campers play 5 vs 5 games? Yes.  At the end of the day teams will compete against each other applying the skills learned throughout the day. Day 5 is always “Championship Day” and the winning team in each division is awarded.
